Sr Change Manager
The Global Business Services (GBS) Organization wants to deliver services on end-to-end processes to the business with competitive pricing whereas the interaction with the customer (our business) is key. The business should always be able to rely on their delivery partner, GBS.
GBS has a strong culture of continuous improvement and talent development. To strengthen our capabilities, projects will be initiated and executed in various areas on an ongoing basis.
For one of our projects an in-depth change & communication strategy and plan is needed, as well as the execution of the plan. Activities include: stakeholder engagement, communications, change interventions, change measurement, change network set up & execution, organization impact assessment, change leadership sessions, coaching & change embedding.
 
Successful execution of the project requires organizational change management to ensure minimal organizational disruption to maximize outcomes.
 
Key Objectives 

  • Responsible for Organizational Change Management and Communications for the project
  • Lead the OCM work for this project based on the company's Change Management methodology and best practices.
  • Ensure minimal organizational disruption by managing the overall impact of the project for our stakeholders in the business, functions and GBS.

 
Key Accountabilities and activities 

  • Responsible for Organizational Change Management and Communications within the project.
  • Develop a change strategy and plan, on the basis of the stakeholder analysis, the organization change impact assessment, including risk & issues, change interventions, incl. communication and training, and timelines.
  • Develop and/or coordinate development of high quality communication and embedding. Regular communication is needed through newsletters etc; support calls and meetings need to be organized.
  • Execute the training plan if required, such as coordinate development of training material.
  • Create and maintain a change agent network to use for a feedback mechanism
  • Manage and communicate based on the AkzoNobel Change Management methodology and best practices.
  • Prepare and enable impacted stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • Plan the OCM effort needed using OCM methodology.
  • Execute change plan using our OCM methodology.
  • Implement the new ways of working both within GBS and other involved parties


Eisen (knock- out) 

  1. Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Organizational behavior, Business Management, or other degree with relevant OCM experience
  2. Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
  3. At least 8 years relevant work experience in OCM, project management, communication and training. 
  4. Experience in working for a multinational company on large and complex global transformations.
  5. Strong preference of having business experiences in HR business function
  6. Strong project and change management skills
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Sensitive to a diverse and multi-cultural environment
  9. Outstanding networker with strong people management skills
