Business Analyst Generic Onsite

Imagine that you are working in a team which is responsible for the datalogistics for the lending domain. A current solution is already in production for a long time, but main focus is on developing a brand new datawarehouse. This datawarehouse has to be of high quality because of regulatory requirements; completeness, precision and timeliness are key. The fundament of the new system is in production since a short period; some requirements have yet to be realised and next to that a variety of source systems need to be connected and that data needs to be delivered to our users. The datawarehouse is based on a model-driven approach and uses datawarehouse automation via a framework.
Furthermore, image that you work in a team which strives to be a High Performing Team. We believe that the solvency of our teams is inexhaustible. Therefore we aim to use the qualities of our team members to the fullest potential. Your opinion and ideas are taken seriously. Fun, ownership and trust in each other form the fundament of our team. We work conform DevOps and Agile/Scrum-principles. We improve ourselves continuously within these methods, so we can use the capabilities or these methods as much as possible in order to achieve the best possible results.
As a Business Analyst, you can make a difference:
• By understanding the goals and needs of the business as no other. You are able to understand the question behind the question and translate that into IT-requirements.
• By translating the IT-requirements to suitable IT-solutions based on our service catalogue.
• By carrying out impact analyses, involving all relevant stakeholders in for example workshops hosted by you.
• By using your know-how up to data attribute-level whilst working on a solution for a data-request.
• By being the (wo)man in the middle towards business, data-customers and DevOps-teams. You are able to connect and communicate with this variety of stakeholders.
• By thinking along in creating new services for the business catalogue if needed, together with the Solution Architect, Product Owner and Delivery Manager.
• By contributing in your team to carry out other tasks from a T-shape perspective.
With each other
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our Data & Reporting team brings talented people together to host our current datalogistics system, but the main focus is on our new datawarehouse. With you as a Business Analyst the team will consist of almost 55 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including:

- Business Analysts
- Software Engineers (Development and Test)
- Operations Engineers
- DBA’s

Customer focus, collaboration and persuasive communication are clearly essential for the role of Business Analyst.
